Little Ears students showed up in record numbers for December’s Holiday Serenades at Dulles Town Center Mall with over 30 students sharing holiday cheer with mall shoppers. LEMS Students Receive First Class Honors with Distinction with the Royal Conservatory
Kylie W and Kai G saw their hard work pay off when they received the highest marks on their most recent RCM tests—First Class Honors with Distinction. Katja G received First Class Honors and Victoria B received Honors in their latest tests. LEMS facilitates testing with the Royal Conservatory of Music for students who wish to add formal music testing to their musical journey.
The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM), located in Canada, provides the definitive standard of excellence in curriculum design, assessment, performance training, teacher certification and arts-based social programs. Mrs. Tallamy has successfully passed the Elementary Music Teaching Course with Distinction and will be offering students a more in-depth option in their piano studies through the RCM programs. RCM offers an internationally recognized tiered testing module that nurtures the step-by-step growth of young musicians.
